Free Community Event to Kick off the Holiday Season in DesMoines.  Dress in Festival Warm attire for a Waterland tradition at Big Catch Plaza (corner of 216th and Marine View Drive).  “Winter Wonderland” Theme this year.  Hot Cocoa and Cookies sponsored by John L Scott-Des Moines, Face Painting sponsored by Anthony’s Homeport, Holiday Music by the Des Moines Elementary Band conducted by Rodney Olsen, sponsored by Julie Creswell Jazz Quintet.  Santa Phones by Mel Ponder Photography, sponsored by Great NW Insurance Brokers.
